Being a guest in a new church is often challenging. That is why we would like to give you some basic information concerning where you can start connecting at
THE BRiDGE ORLANDO. Our desire is to make your connection with the BRiDGE as welcoming and easy as possible.
Please fill out a connection card with your information and drop it in the offering boxes or take it to the guest center in the church lobby. This way we have your personal information and can contact you in order to better meet your needs. Our endeavor is to express love and care to every person that comes through the doors of our gathering.
At THE BRiDGE ORLANDO, we have many different ministries, outreach opportunities, and places where you can get involved.
We know some of these things can be confusing, so let us give you a framework of our philosophy and the things that you will need to know in order to get connected with our fellowship.
As a regular attendee there are several areas where you can participate:
- Regular church attendance
- Attend church wide prayer
- Receive ministry from our Prayer Teams, Prophetic Teams, Healing Teams and Pastoral Staff
- Receive baptism
- Attend our Fellowship Luncheon
- Attend a connection group, seminar or conference
- Attend training and discipleship classes
- Volunteer as a greeter to our newcomers at the Guest Center or help in the Bookstore
- Volunteer to help with the Children's Ministry or on a Setup/Tear Down Team
- Participate in an evangelism outreach
All of these areas and much more are available to those who regularly attend our church fellowship.
We encourage everyone to attend our partnership class to find out about the vision, mission and purpose of the Church. This class also gives you all the information you need to know about church partnership.
The general pastoral care of the church takes place in two ways:
- Through Connection Groups
- Through full time pastoral staff
We encourage everyone to engage in a small group of some kind and to connect with someone on our pastoral staff.
Once you have become a connected partner of
THE BRiDGE ORLANDO, there is a whole new level of ministry participation available to you. As a partner, you can:
- Audition for a prayer or worship team
- Be on a prophetic and dream team
- Lead a small group
- Teach a training class
- Participate on the Expressive Arts Team
- Work with our youth
- Become a ministry leader
Our philosophy for separating participation between those who regularly attend and those who are fully committed church partners is that we do not want people leading or ministering on behalf of THE BRiDGE ORLANDO that have not fully committed to upholding our core values, vision, mission and purpose.
This philosophy ensures the quality of ministry offered at THE BRiDGE ORLANDO. Our focus on character development is a central issue that carries over into all aspects of ministry. Our desire is to engage people into their purpose. We believe that everyone is a minister, not just the paid pastoral staff. This means that you have a place of ministry here at THE BRiDGE ORLANDO.
If you are evaluating THE BRiDGE ORLANDO as a potential church home, we invite you to ask questions, visit a connection group, stop by our Guest Center in the church lobby, meet the BRiDGE pastoral staff, attend the partnership class and interact with some of our church staff. Our desire is that you find your place in the body and express the ministry and purpose that God has gifted you.
